These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at https://pafaindy.org/, and any related registration, membership, donation, or event pages operated on behalf of the Pakistani American Friendship Association ("PAFA," "PAFA Indy," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website, registering for membership, making a donation, or registering for an event through our site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting our website, creating a membership account, submitting a donation, registering for an event, or otherwise interacting with our online forms, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all visitors, members, donors, and event participants.

2. About PAFA and Our Services

PAFA is a community organization serving the Pakistani-American community in and around Indianapolis, Indiana, with a mission to bring the community together, stay connected, keep our culture alive, and make a positive social impact. Through our website and affiliated online forms, we offer:

  • Information about cultural events, celebrations, and community programs;
  • Academic and career counseling and community outreach initiatives;
  • Promotion of Urdu language and culture;
  • Individual and family membership registration;
  • Online donations and payments; and
  • Event registration and related communications.

Membership registration, donations, and certain event-related payments are processed through a third-party online forms and payment processing platform linked from our website. Your use of that platform may also be subject to its own terms, which will be presented to you at the time of use.

3. Membership and Accounts

PAFA offers individual and family membership options for an annual fee, as described on our website at the time of registration. To become a member, you will be asked to provide certain personal information (such as your name, email address, mobile number, and mailing address) through our online registration form and to select a membership type and complete payment.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering, and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials associated with your membership account and for all activity that occurs under your account. Membership fees are generally non-refundable except as otherwise stated at the time of registration or as required by law.

4. Donations and Payments

Our website allows visitors to make donations and other payments to PAFA, including general donations, event-related payments, membership fees, and advertising or sponsorship payments. When you make a payment, you may be asked to provide your name, email address, and (optionally) a phone number, along with payment details processed through our third-party payment platform.

Donations may be made as a one-time payment or, where offered, on a recurring (weekly or monthly) basis. You are responsible for reviewing the amount and frequency of any recurring donation before submitting it, and for contacting us if you wish to change or cancel a recurring donation.

5. Events and Registration

From time to time, PAFA hosts cultural events, celebrations, and community programs that may require advance registration or payment through our website or affiliated online forms. Event details, fees, and any applicable cancellation or refund terms will be provided at the time of registration for that specific event. Except as stated for a specific event, event fees are non-refundable.

6. Communications — Email and SMS/Text Messaging

By providing your email address, you may receive email communications from PAFA, including newsletters, announcements, event information, and reminders. You may unsubscribe from these emails at any time using the link provided in each message.

If you provide your mobile number and affirmatively opt in during membership registration or another form, you agree to receive SMS/MMS text messages from PAFA, including announcements, event information, registration updates, and reminders, sent through a third-party SMS/text-messaging platform provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. Consent to receive SMS/MMS messages is not a condition of membership, purchase, donation, or registration.

7. Acceptable Use

When using our website and online forms, you agree not to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information in any registration, membership, donation, or event form;
  • Use our website or forms for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or network connected to our website;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our website or the servers or networks used to make it available; or
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers, or similar tools) to access or collect data from our website without our prior written consent.

8. Intellectual Property
